Building upon the success of the Nikon 1, the Nikon 1 V2 has made its first appearance with a fresh ergonomic grip, built-in flash and a Command Mode Dial at a price of $899.95. That’s not all; the company has also introduced a new SB-N7 optional compact speedlight for both 1 V1 and 1 V2 cameras.

This Nikon snapper has been equipped with a 14.2MP CX-format CMOS sensor and an Advance Hybrid AF system that lets users shoot up to 15fps. Plus, it has a fresh Expeed 3A processor that comes with enhanced image-signal processing and readout capabilities. This camera also allows users to select between an ISO range of 160 to 6400 for taking stills in various lighting conditions. Modes like high-speed continuous shooting, Best Moment Capture and Live Image Control are included as well.

Speedlight

Using the Command Dial feature placed on the top of the Nikon 1 V2 users will be able to adjust settings without much effort. Plus, there’s the Direct Setting Control that provides quick access to manual exposure settings. Buyers of the device will be able to slow down the motion of moving objects in real time and view them on the 3-inch LCD display, owing to the Slow View creative mode. As per its price and release date details, the Nikon 1 V2 camera will be available for purchase by late November at a cost of $899.95 (approx. Rs. 48,300). The SB-N7 speedlight will hit stores in January at a cost of $159.95 (approx. Rs. 8,580).
