Deriving inspiration from the EOS technology, the Canon EOS M digital camera is capable of delivering full HD video quality along with continuous AF. Apart from this device, the company has even introduced two new kit lenses, the EF-M 22mm f/2 STM and the EF-M 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS STM.
Outfitted with an 18MP APS-C-sized CMOS sensor, the device flaunts its ability to deliver a shallow depth of field along with decent quality images even in low-light conditions. To support this capability, it offers an ISO range between 100 – 6400 for video recording purposes that can go as high as 12800 in the H mode. In terms of capturing still images, it provides an ISO range of 100 to 12800, which is expandable up to 25600 in the H mode.

Adding to this, the Canon EOS M digital camera claims to offer a wider range to capture stills with finer detailing. Then there is the hybrid CMOS AF and the DIGIC 5 image processor that cater to enhancing the quality of shots. On the visual front, the snapper sports a 3-inch clear view LCD that fosters easy navigation via gestures like swiping. Modes like Handheld Night Scene mode and HDR Backlight Control mode along with seven filters are also thrown into the mix. With regards to internal storage, this camera supports SD, SDXC and SDHC memory cards.
The Canon EOS M digital camera price amounts to $799.99 (approx. Rs. 44,675), inclusive of the EF-M 22mm f/2 STM kit lens. It will be up for grabs by October this year. The white version along with the lens kit mentioned above will be available exclusively via the company’s online store.
