Locked and loaded to shoot, the Panasonic Lumix LX7 has entered the popular LX series with beefed up features. A few enhanced characteristics include its entirely redesigned lens, processing engine and image sensor, amongst others.
The Lumix camera sports a 24mm ultra-wide angle Leica DC Vario-Summilux lens that provides 3.8x optical zoom. Its 1/1.7-inch 10.1MP MOS sensor comes with an augmented 1.5dB S/N ratio, while the integrated Venus Engine claims to enhance the signal processing too. There are in-built features like Intelligent NR and Multi-process NR that cater to noise reduction. The snapper’s digital signal output renders high speed, full resolution recording at 11fps when in the manual mode and 5fps shooting when switched to the AF mode. Users can also employ the iA and iA Plus modes for decent quality results.

A 3-inch, 920,000-dot Intelligent LCD automatically alters its brightness according to requirements and offers a wide angle viewing with a high resolution. On the audio front, the Panasonic Lumix LX7 features Dolby Digital Stereo Creator and a stereo microphone that drags along an Auto Wind Cut function and a zoom noise reduction property. Photography enthusiasts can also try out the Creative Video mode to adjust the shutter speed or the aperture and play with their imaginative abilities. Apart from a host of filters, the device offers additional highlights like the 3D Photo mode, Panorama Shot mode and Creative Retouch.
The Panasonic Lumix LX7 price and release date details are still under wraps. It will be up for purchase drenched in black or white.
