Further augmenting the range of compact cameras, the Samsung ST76 and ST66 arrive with claims of adding a creative touch to everyday shots. The sleek snappers encased in stylish brushed-metal compact exteriors, can easily fit into the users’ pockets.
The ST range of cameras are deployed with 16MP CCD sensors and 5x optical zoom along with F/2.5, 25mm wide angle lenses to facilitate shooting in low lighting conditions. These offerings can also act as camcorders to record high definition 720p videos at the rate of 30 frames per second. Additionally, the ST76 variant has been included with image stabilizer to help capturing steady and undistorted images.

Both cameras of the ST range come with the Live Panorama feature to click wide shots which can be easily previewed on their LCD screens. And for amateur photographers, the Smart Auto 2.0 function automatically selects the most appropriate scene mode by detecting the shooting conditions for better results. The built-in effects allow users to edit images with features such as face tracking, magic frames, background templates, funny face and picture-in-picture amongst others.
The Samsung ST76, ST66 compact cameras are currently on display at the CES. Their prices and availability details are yet to be revealed.
