Fujifilm’s fun and fashionable Z series of compact cameras has a new addition, the FinePix Z70. The camera adorns modish design and has been aptly designed for the tech-savvy youth. Apart from good looks, the device bundles up an innovative spec sheet which includes one-touch movie capture HD, LED illuminated operation keys and also tagging with automatic upload functions to social networks.
The device packs in a 12 MP CCD sensor and a large 2.7-inch high resolution screen. The Fujinon 5x periscopic optical zoom lens brings in range and flexibility. Sporting a chic look, the sleek and sophisticated FinePix Z70 features a horizontal sliding lens barrier. At 18.1mm thin, it slips into a handbag or jeans-pocket.

Users can pick among Black, Silver Blue and Berry Red colors. A delight for social networkers, the camera incorporates the Facebook/YouTube Automatic Upload feature. The one-touch easy web upload button effortlessly marks the photos to be uploaded on Facebook or YouTube. All the marked images are uploaded on connecting the camera to a PC and launching the MyFinePix Studio software.
The device is attributed with 720p HD movie recording, one-touch movie button, Movie Edit feature and Blog Mode. Some other noteworthy functionalities of the F70 are Tracking Auto Focus, Digital Image Stabilization, Scene Recognition Auto, Face Detection and Automatic Red-eye Removal. The FinePix Z70 is expected to be available this month at a retail price of $149.95 (approx Rs. 6,899).
