Sharp Corporation is all set to commercialize a handset featuring solar cell module for the Chinese market. The Solar Hybrid SH6230C is said to be Sharp’s first solar-powered phone for the overseas market. Sharp had introduced solar-powered handsets into the Japanese market last year. With the increasing number of eco-friendly users, the phones gained immense popularity.
The SH6230C incorporates the advanced technology which has been developed in Japan. It packs in Sharp’s proprietary solar cell module, 2.9-inch LCD screen and 5-megapixel autofocus camera. Sharp is expected to bring the solar-powered phones to the global markets.
Sharp is also said to introduce SH6220C and SH6228C models which are integrated with Memory LCD, in the Chinese market. Well, memory LCD is a low-power-consuming display offering high visibility under the daylight.
The SH6230C will be available in Blue and White colors. The SH6220C comes dressed in Pink and Black while the SH6228C adorns Pink and White hues. These handsets are expected to hit the Chinese market this month.
