Sanyo has unveiled an exiting range of camcorders called the Xacti CG11, reports I4U. These colorful pistol shaped high definition camcorders will surely appeal to the ladies. These camcorders are capable of recording videos with a resolution of 720p. With a number of devices that are capable of playing back 720p videos gearing up for a release, it surely feels like this camcorder won’t have to struggle to be noticed.
The elongated handle of this camcorder closely resembles the barrel of a gun. The CG11 incorporates a 10 megapixel CMOS sensor that assists in recording videos with a resolution of 720p. The camera is capable of storing H.264-encoded MPEG-4 videos with the help of SDHC memory cards.
Sanyo also throws in a 5x optical zoom, a microphone and an anti-shake functionality. This device includes an integrated EyeFi and mini-HDMI connectivity. The EyeFi cards allow users to share the recorded video with their friends via various social networking sites like YouTube.
The Sanyo Xacti CG11 camcorder will start shipping from September 1 in Japan. The camcorders will be made available in three exciting colors namely white, orange and green and is expected to retail at around $318 (approx. Rs. 15,495).
