Nokia intros PC mobility with Booklet 3G

Nokia Booklet 3G Netbook

Nokia is a well known name in the competitive mobile phone market. This mobile phone giant is now all geared up to enter the mobile PC market with the launch of the Nokia Booklet 3G. This Windows-based netbook is said to incorporate Nokia’s rich and efficient mobility features.

The Booklet is said to be powered by Intel’s Atom processor and delivers 12 hours of usage time. This long battery life is expected to increase the mobility and productivity. Featuring the unique aluminum chassis, the Booklet 3G weighs only 1.25kg and is slightly thicker than 2cm. The connectivity options of this netbook include 3G/ HSPA and Wi-Fi. It also features Nokia’s broad suite of Ovi services. The Ovi suite is also capable of synchronizing music and data from the Nokia smartphone, to the mini-laptop.

In doing so we will make the personal computer more social, more helpful and more personal.”

The highlight of this device is the HDMI video output port and the front facing webcam. The Nokia device also provides support for Bluetooth and SD card reader. The other notable features of the Nokia Booklet 3G include 10-inch glass HD ready display, integrated A-GPS connectivity and access and playback of millions of tracks through the Nokia Music Store.

Nokia has announced this netbook with a view to widen its portfolio and take a step ahead in the direction towards being a complete mobile solution company. The Nokia Booklet will get an official introduction at the Nokia World on September 2.
