Sony expands Cyber-Shot series with H20, S980 and S930 Digital Cameras

Sony is in full swing to offer consumers a wide range of options for capturing memorable moments instantly. The company has announced the introduction of Cyber-Shot H20 and two S-series digital cameras called the S980 and S930.

In the Cyber-shot H20 camera, users will find features such as a 10.1 effective megapixels resolution, Carl Zeiss 10x optical zoom lens, optical SteadyShot function, enhanced face detection and smile shutter technology. The camera also has the ability to record movie clips in 720p HD quality.

Speaking about the S-series, the Cyber-shot S980 and S930 digital cameras pack in an easy-to-use interface with many powerful features that include SteadyShot image stabilisation for clearer pictures in any situation and Face Detection.

Available in silver, black and pink colors, both the cameras also incorporate Picture Motion Browser 4.0 and new GPS-CS3KA GPS unit to geotag images.

While the Cyber-Shot S980 offers a resolution of 12.1 effective megapixels with 4x optical zoom lens, the Cyber-Shot S930 employs 10.1 megapixels and 3x optical zoom lens.

Sony also bundles three soft carry cases called LCS-CSVA, LCS-CSVB and LCS-CSVC in a variety of colors.

The Sony Cyber-Shot S980 camera should reach stores by end of this month, the Sony Cyber-Shot S930 camera will be available from mid-April 2009 and the Sony Cyber-Shot H20 is expected to release in end-April 2009.
