Canon launches five VIXIA high definition camcorders, retaining Canon’s core imaging technologies, they come with several new features which enhance image quality and make sharing easier.
Creating highest level of high definition image quality, the VIXIA camcorders offer Canon’s HD Video Lens, HD CMOS Image Sensor for Full HD image capture and DIGIC DV II and DIGIC DV III Image Processors. Select VIXIA camcorders come equipped with Instant AutoFocus, SuperRange Optical Image Stabilization and 24Mbps Recording.

VIXIA HF S10 and VIXIA HF S100 Flash Memory Camcorders: The Canon VIXIA HF S10 and VIXIA HF S100 offer an array of impressive and innovative features including an 8.59 Megapixel Full HD CMOS Image Sensor, Genuine Canon Face Detection Technology, Video Snapshot and Dual Shot Modes, DIGIC DV III Image Processor and an advanced Auto Exposure system. With the VIXIA HF S10, you can record video to a 32GB internal Flash drive as well as directly to an SDHC memory card while the VIXIA HF S100 allows you to record only to an SDHC memory card.
VIXIA HF20 and VIXIA HF200 Flash Memory Camcorders: The VIXIA HF20 and VIXIA HF200, compact and portable high definition Flash Memory camcorders can be conveniently carried wherever you go. The VIXIA HF20 lets you record to a 32GB internal Flash drive or SDHC card slot while the VIXIA HF200 restricts to an SDHC memory card. Some of their features are 3.89 Megapixel Full HD CMOS Image Sensor, advanced Auto Exposure system, Genuine Canon 15x HD Video Lens, and Video Snapshot and Dual Shot Modes.
VIXIA HV40 HDV Camcorder: The Canon VIXIA HV40 HDV is said to be a perfect replacement for the renowned VIXIA HV30 camcorder. Along with all the goodies of the VIXIA line, it also features the Genuine Canon 10x HD Video Lens, 2.96 MP Full HD CMOS Image Sensor, record in native 24p Mode and Custom Key Mode. The Native 24p lets you record 24 progressive fps to a HDV tape while the Custom Key Mode lets you assign the commonly used features to a single button.
