Along with the VIXIA range, Canon has also announced six Standard Definition Camcorders that let you capture and watch high quality video minus the need for a HD television. They come equipped with all the core technologies.
Canon has new addition to its FS Series in the form of sleeker and compact FS22, FS21 and FS200 Flash Memory Camcorders. The Dual Flash Memory camcorders, 32GB FS22 and 16GB FS21 let you record video directly to an SDHC memory card and come equipped with Genuine Canon 48x Advanced Zoom. Dressed in Misty Silver, Sunrise Red or Evening Blue, the FS200 Flash Memory camcorder allows you to record video directly to an SDHC memory card.
The new Canon DC420 and DC410 DVD camcorders, as the name suggests, lets you record directly to a DVD. They feature a DIGIC DV II Image Processor and Widescreen Recording and optional add-on features like filters and lens accessories. The DC420 comes with 48x Advanced Zoom while the DC410 provides 41x Advanced Zoom.
The Canon ZR960 MiniDV Camcorder lets you record video to MiniDV. Though it’s aimed at beginners, it is equipped with all core technologies of Canon. It offers 41x Advanced Zoom, microphone terminal and add-on features include filters and lens accessories.
