Samsung Plasma HDTVs displayed at CES

Samsung Series 8 and 6 plasma HDTVs Samsung unveils its new Series 8 and 6 plasma HDTVs that deliver full HD 1080p resolution and good energy efficiency at CES.

The Samsung Series 8 Plasma HDTVs claim to be the slimmest 1080p resolution plasma with built-in ATSC tuners. With a chrome-kind translucent surface and ToC treated chassis, the color intensity changes depending upon the viewing angle. The Series 6 sports a semi-transparent rose black hue and transparent curved edges.

The Samsung’s Plasma HDTVs feature extremely high dynamic contrast ratio, Ultra FilterBright technology and Ultra Filter Bright Plus that minimizes the luminance in black levels by 50 percent. The exclusive Wide Color Enhancer 3 maps HD or SD signals to cover 110 percent of the HD specification.

The Series 8 and 6 plasma HDTVs provide best of the Web to the television with the Internet@TV function, it also offers a suite of services. These Plasma HDTVs are DLNA-compliant, thus you can enjoy your favorite media content plus connect storage/mobile devices to its USB 2.0 port.

These Plasma HDTVs are eco-friendly, supposedly the greenest ever, with high-efficiency panels, they conserve power, meet the stringent Energy Star 3.0 standard and are built of lead-free materials.
