Samsung has launched its new digital camcorder, dubbed VP-HMX10A. The company claims that the latest camcorder is their first foray into the world of the Compact HD Camera.
The tiny VP-HMX10A features 8GB internal memory, SDHC slot, records in MP4 format and features a 10x zoom. It has the capability to record onto SD cards and supports a resolution of 1920x720pixels.
The compact digital camcorder can compress images by the highly efficient MPEG 4 standard (H.264). It also provides easy operation and clear menus for good filming, along with an i-check button that indicates the battery status.
If the camcorder battery is fully charged, then the Quick Start feature can be used to capture your shot that you want. It provides a total time of elapsed (3 seconds) from hitting the ‘on’ switch to start recording.
The Samsung VP-HMX10A digital camcorder will be introduced officially in September at the IFA 2007 in Berlin.
1920×720 does not exist, the standard is 1280×720.
