It’s that time of the year, when we, the consumers have so much to choose from. What with Canon’s latest A550 and A460 PowerShot digital cameras. Now Sony has introduced the Cyber-shot W35 and W55, adding two new digital cameras which do not compromise on looks, useful features or image performance, to its W Series of Cyber-shot cameras.

Both the Sony Cyber-shot W35 and W55 digital cameras have a 7.2 megapixel sensor and a Real Imaging Processor, rendering crisp and clear images. The High Sensitivity mode on the camera dial improves the maximum sensitivity to ISO 1000. So you can now effectively capture blur-free images even when shooting indoors without flash or in low light conditions.

The Sony Cyber-shot W35 and W55 cameras use high quality Carl Zeiss Vario-Tessar lens that offer 3x optical zoom range and a 6x digital zoom, together with a combined 14xSmartZoom.

And if close-up shots are your specialty, then the Cyber-shot W35 and W55 digital cameras have the ability to focus right down to 2cm shooting distance, due to the high quality lens. Thus, users are able to take out crisp close-ups in Macro mode.

Moreover, shots can be framed using the optical viewfinder, as an alternative to the 2-inch LCD screen.

Technical specs apart, the Sony Cyber-shot W35 and W55 digital cameras have the look as well. They are light and compact, making it easy to carry around.
