Nikon D3 is in the news of being released since few weeks now. Finally, Nikon, the No. 2-ranked SLR (single-lens reflex) camera maker, may be all set to announce the D3, which will be replacing its D2 series of top-end digital SLR cameras.
The new Nikon camera seems to be a major improvement over the D2x, which was first seen in 2004.
The camera, probably, would be one of the first portable Nikon Digital SLR’s as it would include a near full-frame sensor (1.1 factor of DX sensor). The camera would handle low-light conditions better.
Lower-light shooting will also be easier, which suggests a newer processor with better noise reduction for high-ISO images, says one source.
As per the rumors, the D3 will be introduced in late June and would ship in August or September.
