JVC’s 110-inch HDTV – the World’s Largest TV Unveiled

JVC HD-100MH80 HDTV Victor Company of Japan, Ltd. (JVC) has launched a 110-inch biggest rear-projection High-Definition TV, named HD-110MH80.

The dimension of this 330kg HD television is 96x54x110-inch (eight feet wide and three feet deep). It is likely to be the world’s giant consumer TV till date as it provides a 110-inch diagonal viewing area.

It’s internally developed D-ILA technology scales the native 1080p resolution to enhance its detail even at the large size and also boosts contrast to a practical 5,000:1.

Other Standard HDTV features of JVC HD-110MH80 are:

  • 100 BASE-TX Ethernet

  • 4 separate RCA inputs
  • The company said that at 728 pounds, the set must have a strong supporting floor and may need extra reinforcement depending on the house.

    The cost of the JVC HD-110MH80 is $52,787 and will be available from October as the pre-order is been placed from July.
