Besides the Latitude E series laptops, OptiPlex desktops and Precision tower workstations announced recently, the Dell XPS One 27 AIO was also let loose for Asia. Accompanied by the Inspiron One AIOs, this device is slated to hit store shelves in the US in coming weeks.
The largest all-in-one computer from the company, the One 27 is outfitted with a 16:9 WLED display spanning 27 inches that renders HD visuals in 2560 x 1440 resolutions. The optional Nvidia GeForce GPU teams up with the AIO’s large screen to enhance the picture quality and comes with entertainment features like Waves MaxxAudio 4, 7.1 Surround Sound as well as Infinity-branded speakers. Prospective users also have an option to load their rigs with a Blu-ray disc drive and an internal TV tuner.
The clutter-free system, encased in a silver metallic enclosure, is packaged along with a wireless keyboard and mouse. Powered by the third generation Intel i7 or i5 quad core processors, it is deployed with the Intel Turbo Boost technology and Intel Smart Response technology. This AIO extends support to an mSATA SSD drive as well as four USB 3.0 ports, an HDMI output, a headphone jack, a microphone jack and a media card reader for connection purposes. It can be configured with up to 16GB DDR3 RAM. The company has also thrown in an HD webcam.
The Dell XPS One 27 AIO price and availability details are as follows – it can now be purchased in select regions of Asia for $1,399 (approx. Rs. 77,755). The system will soon go up for sale in the US too.
