Dell Latitude E Series Laptops

With a view to fulfilling business requirements of the mobile workforce, Dell has announced the arrival of the Dell Latitude E series business laptops along with the OptiPlex family of desktops. The company has also announced the availability of the Precision tower workstation, which claims to offer a powerful performance at a budget-friendly price.

The E6430s of the Intel based Dell Latitude E series is a 13.3-inch laptop that provides a viewing real estate of 14 inches. While the E6230 and E6330 come in screen sizes of 12.5 and 13.3 inches, respectively, the E6430 and E5430 sport a 14-inch display each. The 15.6-inch options include E5530 and E6530. The durable E6 variants are said to be apt for mobile professionals owing to their long battery lives and wireless connectivity options, whereas the E6 notebooks are deployed with the Intel VPro systems management to facilitate managing business on the go.

The OptiPlex family is inclusive of the 3010, 7010, 9010 desktops and the 9010 AIO desktops. Features like wireless connectivity options, Microsoft Unified Communications certification and headset mini jacks for voice-over-IP make the desktops suitable for video conferencing. The AIO is optimized for space saving with VESA mounting option as well as wireless mouse and keyboard. The Entry-level Precision tower workstation powered by the Intel Core and Xeon CPU has also been announced by the manufacturer.
