Samsung has bounced back into India with the next edition in the Galaxy tablet range as it has announced the arrival of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 310 in the country. The 3G and Wi-Fi enabled device claims to multitask efficiently, courtesy its dual core processor.
The slate brings the Ice Cream Sandwich platform to the platter, and the OS teams up with the user interface to ensure a faster and intuitive experience. A 7-inch WSVGA PLS TFT multi-touch display of 600 x 1024p resolutions and a VGA webcam sits on the front panel of the tab, while a 3MP camera capable of capturing images and recording high definition videos at the rate of 30 frames per second, graces its rear side.

This multimedia-ready Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 310 comes with a video player as well as a music player with SoundAlive and extends support to formats such as 3GP, ASF, AVI, WMV, WMA, MP3, AAC, FLAC and WAV amongst others. Equipped with a 1GHz processor and 1GB RAM, it comes in variants with 8GB, 16GB and 32GB memory capacities. Additionally, it features an expansion slot to increase the memory further using a microSD card of up 32GB capacity.
And if that’s not enough, the tablet has been loaded with Readers Hub for access to over 2 million eBooks, Games Hub for connections to game titles and My Movies to watch movies and music videos. Its AllShare Play function facilitates transferring content to other devices. Social networking attributes like ChatOn also form a part of this Galaxy device.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 310 price in India is Rs. 23,250 and it is being offered through Tata Docomo with a free 3GB data download for a period of 3 months.
