Upcoming Apple iPods to feature in-built camera?

Apple iPod Camera

Apple has once again snatched the limelight by foraying into the rumor terrain on the next-generation iPod models. In the words of Apple Insider, Apple is apparently planning to integrate camera functionality in the future iPod Touch and Nano models.

The report has been sourced from Hardmac, the English-language version of France’s MacBidouille, mentioning that Apple’s refurbished models of iPod touch and iPod nano are expected to launch later this September and these players would feature a camera – similar to the iPhone.

A video playing capability is quite commonly noticed in the existing media players, but a video recording capability is a totally different chapter! And in case this attribute has a minimal amount of factual touch, it would help the company to broaden the camera-related application market on the App store.

As of now there are no details on the one of the biggest features – the supposed camera functionality – for the upcoming iPods. However, there are chances that the camera-embedded iPod Touch and Nano models would carry an expensive price tag.

Before we run our head to guess more about the device and enhanced functionality, let’s wait for the company’s official announcement on the same and break the cryptic report.
