After being introduced in Korea, iRiver has announced the launch of its small and sleek Lplayer MP4 Player in the American market. This multifunctional media player lets you listen to music and even watch video.
On the wide 2.0-inch screen, users will find a neat D-click control, menus to navigate through music and video playlist, a photo and text viewer, FM radio and FM recording, voice recording and more.
Talking on the release of the Lplayer, Sean Oh, head of U.S. operations for iriver, mentioned, “Consumers have come to expect extreme style and innovation from iriver, and the new Lplayer delivers on all counts. The Lplayer is a perfect example of how iriver manages to mesh sophistication with endless capabilities, and offer it all at a price that will surprise.”
Owners can enjoy up to 12 hours of music and 4 hours of video on a single charge. The company has added a special 14-minute video by British alternative rock band, Muse. However, this feature will only be available to the first 100,000 Lplayers.
Shining in black, white and pink color tones, the iRiver Lplayer MP4 multifunctional device comes with a price tag of $109.99 for a 4G format and $159.99 for the 8G capacity. It is expected to be available at Amazon.com, J&R, B&H Photos and Video amongst other retail stores.
