To boost the entertainment experience, this device offers a host of pre-loaded applications that touch segments like maps, emails and media gallery, within the lot. Each member belonging to the F800 series draws in Sony’s S-Master Digital Amplifier that’s claimed to minimize distortions. Embedded onto its chassis is a dedicated W button that enables users to switch to the music app instantly without needing to shut down an ongoing gaming session or exit from the internet browser.
On the hardware front, the Sony Walkman F800 tags along features such as the Nvidia Tegra 2 dual-core processor to carry out multitasking functions and a 3.5-inch multi-touch panel that fosters easy navigation. Cast in a black or metallic red coating, a 2.0-inch bright touch panel dominates its façade. The company has also bundled in silicone premium headphones that are available for both series.
The Sony Walkman F800 price is chalked at $269.99 (approx. Rs. 14,905) for the 16GB version and $299.99 (approx. Rs. 16,560) for the 32GB one. Prospective buyers can pick up the Sony Walkman E470 at $79.99 (approx. Rs. 4,415) for the 4GB device, $89.99 (approx. Rs. 4,970) for the 8GB version and $109.99 (approx. Rs. 6,070) for the 16GB model.
