Sony speakers for smartphones integrate 3600 Circle Sound technology

Sony has announced its new SRS-BTV25 and RDP-V20iP speakers for smartphones which feature the advanced 3600 Circle Sound technology. They enable Bluetooth music streaming to mobile devices.

The company’s new technology supposedly delivers cutting edge sound quality all over the room and hence the name 3600. These wireless devices eliminate the messiness of wires and are capable of playing by simply linking to Bluetooth. Their omni-directional acoustics enable them to produce music in a balanced manner from anywhere in the room or even outdoors.

The SRS-BTV25 speakers can work with any Bluetooth enabled devices like the Walkman or iPad and come in black and white colors. It is equipped with the bass-boost function and an audio in port for connecting through a mini-jack. This device lets users charge their smartphone or Walkman while listening to music via the integrated USB charging port.

The RDP-V20iP speakers possess the same features that its latest counterpart does and additionally serves as a charger and speaker dock for iPhone and iPod models and is controlled by the accompanying remote. The party can easily be rocking for hours together as the speakers’ in-built rechargeable battery provides 5 hours of playback. While its design and structure is similar to the other speaker set, this model also comes in red besides black and white. It is not compatible with any other device except iPhone and iPod models.

Details about the prices and availability of the Sony SRS-BTV25 and RDP-V20iP speakers have not yet been revealed.
