Zoom R8 8-track Recorder

Enhancing the overall music production experience, Zoom R8 8-track recorder has been introduced in the market to help users seamlessly record music while on the move. It precisely merges four production tools in one convenient device that does not gulp down a lot of space.

Besides functioning as an 8-track playback/2-track simultaneous recorder, this new device is touted to work as an audio interface, a control surface and a pad sampler. With a sampler function that sports eight voices, the device’s integrated drum sounds can be triggered with eight pads to proficiently allot sounds to every track and gradually develop loops.

“The R8 will fit in a guitar case, for a flexible, multi-track solution,” commented James Tsaptsinos, Samson’s VP of Sales. “More than ever before, Zoom users have all the tools necessary to create studio-quality recordings on-the-go.”

The drum machine can be utilized to come up with original backing beats or simply output a metronone for tempo control. In addition to more than 500 drum patterns, the R8 sports a 2GB SD card that comprises 500MB of drum loops recorded by Big Fish Audio. Further, it lends support to around 32GB SDHC cards for a maximum of 100 track hours.

Users can comfortably carry along the R8 onto their studio and record extra tracks using its USB audio interface. Additionally, they can utilize the control surface capabilities to control each function of their most liked DAW software. Users can also enjoy other elements such as more than 140 built-in studio effects and pro-quality mastering effects.

The pricing and availability for the Zoom R8 8-track recorder are unclear as of now.
