Xolo Q1000S spells stiff competition in low-budget smartphone sector

The Xolo Q1000S has been unveiled in India, marking the arrival of yet another quality smartphone in the wallet-friendly category. In spite of the fact that the handset has been ushered into the official website and all its specifications have been detailed out, Xolo has yet to give away the availability details.

A 5-inch touch panel is no more a novelty in the low-budget segment which puts the Xolo Q1000S amidst the likes of the ZTE Grand X Quad Lite and the Spice Pinnacle FHD Mi-525. It packs a 13MP rear and a 5MP front camera, each featuring a BSI sensor. Other key highlights of the main snapper cover flash support, autofocus and the ability to capture videos in full HD resolution.

Another component resting beneath the hood is a 2,500mAh battery, thanks to which the phone might proffer talk time of roughly 22.5 hours on 2G and 12.5 hours on 3G.
