Intex Aqua i7 FHD quad core smartphone is arriving in India next week

It looks like the Intex Aqua i7 FHD smartphone is here to give a tough time to the Canvas 4 and all other Micromax devices that have found takers in India. Slated to arrive splashed with shades of black and white, the handset will be made available through major retail outlets and company-owned stores from September 9.

Featuring a 5-inch full HD touchscreen with a Corning Gorilla Glass film, the Intex smartphone manages to render visuals in 1920 x 1080p resolution. It measures merely 7.8mm in thickness and bundles a 5MP webcam as well as a 13M camera capable of recording full HD videos. And to make it intuitive and ensure smooth navigation, the smartphone has been loaded with the Android Jelly Bean 4.2 platform.

The internal working of the handset is supervised by a quad core processor running at a speed of 1.5GHz and 2GB of RAM. There’s 32GB internal memory for hoarding digital content and 5GB of cloud storage space is offered with it for free. The gadget is pre-installed with a horde of applications and its Matrabhasha app extends support to 22 Indian regional languages. NQ Vault and NQ Security keep viruses at bay and users can subscribe to the Intex Movies app for downloading movies on the go.

And what’s more, the Aqua i7 has all the common features like 3G, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and more. It sports dual SIM card slots and hides a 2000mAh battery under the hood. This power pack should be capable of coughing up the juice for talk time of about 7 hours and standby time of close to 220 hours.

The Intex Aqua i7 has been priced at Rs 21,900.
