US Cellular has announced the availability of the all new Samsung Gloss (SCH-u440) phone. This compact, slim flip handset comes with a QWERTY keyboard that ensures faster texting.
This Samsung handset features stereo Bluetooth for handsfree communication, 1.3 megapixel camera and music player. Moreover, it supports up to 16GB external memory. With 2.55 inch x 2.94 inch x .82 inch dimensions, the Samsung Gloss sports a 2.2†QCIF 262K TFT screen.
“Customers are looking for more out of their cell phones every day,†said Alan D. Ferber, Chief Marketing Officer at U.S. Cellular. “The Samsung Gloss offers a full QWERTY keyboard for easy texting as well as a built in camera and music player to make this phone a unique all-in-one device.
Samsung Gloss also features US Cellular’s easyedge service. It enables users to access Your Navigator with voice turn-by-turn directions, games, news and more. Furthermore, the phone consists of Tone Room and City ID feature. The Tone Room is a ring tone shop which gets updated with music of all genres. The caller ID feature displays the city and state of incoming calls.
Samsung Gloss lets users choose between Pink and Charcoal colors. It is available through U.S. Cellular retail locations and at uscellular.com. The price is yet to be announced.
