Hitachi UltraVision and Alpha series LCD HDTVs

Hitachi UltraVision HDTV Hitachi has introduced two new series of LCD HDTVs namely UltraVision and Alpha. The elegant LCD HDTV series claims to provide superior quality performance.

UltraVision series LCD HDTV models feature 120Hz panel speed, 1080p resolution and Reel120 smooth movie motion technology with eight HD inputs and compliance with Energy Star.

Alpha series LCD HDTVs offer four HDMI connections and HD RGB input. Two, out of the four HDMI connections are situated on the side panel. They offer effortless connection to game consoles and digital cameras. The high definition RGB input enables direct connection to a PC for sharing photos and videos. This series of LCD HDTV are claimed to be advanced and highly flexible.

The UltraVision series includes 55-, 46- and 42-inch class screen sizes. One can view spectacular sharp life-like color images on these energy efficient displays. Furthermore, the five digital HDMI inputs out of the eight HD inputs help enhance the picture quality. The screen sports a thin, slightly curved gloss black bezel that can be rotated for a convenient viewing angle. One can easily access the HD channels with the built-in ATSC/QAM/NTSC tuner. The LCD HDTVs feature panel speeds.

The Alpha series LCD HDTVs bundle up 42-inch and 32-inch class screen sizes with 60Hz panel speed. They sport a rotating stand to appropriately adjust the viewing angle and are Energy Star qualified, thereby energy efficient.

Hitachi’s UltraVision 55-inch Class L55S603, 46-inch Class L46S603 and 42-inch Class L42S503 will be available in September, August and June this year and are priced at $1799(approx Rs.85,618), $1299(approx Rs.61,821) and $999 (approx Rs.47,548), respectively.

Alpha series 42-inch Class L42A403 and 32-inch Class L32A403 are available for $849 (approx. Rs40,407) and $499 (approx Rs.23,750) respectively.
