Samsung releases Propel Pro Windows Mobile Phones via AT&T

After adding the Samsung Propel in the AT&T catalog, the network provider even includes the next generation smartphone from Samsung Mobile to its range of mobile phones.

AT&T Samsung Propel Pro Smartphone Samsung Mobile has announced the availability of its latest smartphone, known as the Samsung Propel Pro, through AT&T.

Powered by the Windows Mobile 6.1 operating system, the slider phone supports AT&T’s 3G network, enabling users to browse through web and access multiple e-mail accounts. Users can take full advantage of Microsoft Direct Push for professional purposes, whereas they can utilize AT&T Xpress Mail to use personal e-mail accounts.

Furthermore, the support for Microsoft Exchange Server and Good Mobile Messaging allows the owners of the Propel Pro to synchronize contacts, calendars and task lists.

This sliding device even enables them to quickly surf internet, thanks to the compatible Internet Explorer Mobile function. Besides, the Windows-capable mobile phone lets users sync schedules and contacts with Microsoft Office Outlook Mobile and manage Word, Excel and PowerPoint documents with Office Mobile. Other features include threaded SMS messaging, Internet connection sharing, mobile banking and Voice Command.

For business and corporate activities, the latest smartphone makes use of Microsoft’s System Center Mobile Device Manager 2008 that assures managing and securing the handset.

Additionally, it packs in 802.11 b/g Wi-Fi, global capabilities, stereo Bluetooth technology, a 3.0 megapixel camera with video-capture capabilities, Windows Media Player 10 Mobile and up to 16 GB microSD memory card support.

Priced at $149.99 (approx. Rs. 7,460), the Samsung Propel Pro smartphone is out in the market via select AT&T retail locations or via the AT&T website.
