Samsung Data Projectors

With an aim to maximize the viewing experience with an excellent picture quality, Samsung has launched a wide range of data projectors that comprises of P Series (Portable), L Series (LCD), D Series (Data) and A Series (A/V).

All these multi-use data projectors that boast a compact design and versatility are designed for academic, corporate and home purposes. These projection devices endeavor to offer the best front-of-screen performance when combined with a TV, Pro Display or a monitor.

JH Kim, President, Information Technology Division, Samsung Electronics America Inc, commented, “Samsung’s Data Projectors focus on what customers are looking for – accurate Front of Screen performance, unique contemporary designs, almost silent operation, and connection flexibility. Our new line of Data Projectors complements our award winning Desktop Displays and powerful Large Format Displays, rounding out our full line of IT visual display offerings.”

Starting with the P series of data projectors, Samsung introduces the P400 ultra-portable projector that is said to be the perfect companion for consumers who are looking for high performance in color and brightness with low operating noise. This compact and lightweight display device offers the best-in-class brightness, 150 ANSI lumens, support for an LED light source and standardized audio/video connections.

Next in the row is the Samsung L series that consists of L220 and L300 projectors. These stand-alone multimedia models are ideal for educational and corporate environments. They have the ability to deliver sharp color-rich images and sound from any AV or PC source. The L300 supports the HDMI capability, which is missing in the L220. Based on the 3 Chip technology, the two short-throw projectors claim to reproduce realistic pictures. Both the projectors even integrate speakers for stereo sound output to run media-rich video applications without any additional audio support.

Third in the line is the D series of data projectors. Comprising of the D300 and D400 DLP projectors, the range utilizes DLP technology for higher brightness in dark or lighted conditions. Said to be the ultimate projecting solutions for larger venues, both the devices offer versatile connectivity, including HDMI.

Coming to the A series of data projectors, the three devices are designed for the ones who love the home theater experience and professional users who prefer the highest quality picture during a full movie experience. The line-up includes the A400, the A800 and A900 projectors. All the three products provide a wide-screen resolution, an expanded color palette and increased color brightness (by 50%). The A800 and A900, which are called the Joe Kane Signature Series, work on the Digital Light Processing (DLP) optical engine to reproduce images at 1080p full HD resolution.

Besides, the projectors can be used in either a dark auditorium or well-lit hall due to their brightness levels of up to 4000 lumens.

Lastly, the solid construction of the L Series, D Series and A Series of data projectors ensure noiseless operation at a range of 26 to 32 dB.

However, there are no details on the price and availability as yet.
