Toshiba Camileo Clip mini camcorder launched

Toshiba Camileo Clip mini camcorder Toshiba Camileo Clip recently introduced at IFA is a mini, hands-free camcorder. Weighing 85g and measuring 46.5mm x 80mm, the full HD camcorder comes with a robust clip on the rear side. The digital action device can be attached to the user’s jacket to record shots.

Whether it is sailing or biking, this gadget’s ruggedized and splash-proof casing allows the user to continue shooting, even when the weather conditions are rough. The strong clip assures that the camcorder stays-put on the jacket, and records shots from the user’s point of view.

The device has 5 megapixel CMOS sensor and it also features a back side illumination technology (BSI), to capture the action clearly, even at twilight. So shots taken are bound to retain natural colors even when shooting in low-lighting conditions. The device is enabled with the electronic image stabilizer (EIS) which ensures that shots recorded are clear, sharp and not blurry. The gadget will be available in dark blue, hot red, bright yellow and snow white colors.

Micro SD/SDHC/SDXC memory cards with capacity of up to 64GB are supported by this mini camcorder. Videos and snapshots can be directly uploaded to social platforms with the help of the Camileo Uploader software. For hassle-free connectivity to devices like notebooks, tablets and TVs, one can make use of miniHDMI and Mini-USB.2.0 interfaces.

Toshiba Camileo Clip will be available in the fourth quarter 2011 in Europe.
