HCL Me Y3 price and availability divulged by online retailers

The HCL Me Y3 tablet has now graced the markets and an online retailer has pegged its price at just under Rs. 12,000. It takes inspiration from devices like the Swipe Legend, Mercury mTab streaQ and others to offer dual SIM functionality through its compact 7-inch form factor.

The Me Y3 voice calling tablet has been optimized for those who wish to have a phone’s as well as a tab’s functionality in a single device. As it has two SIM slots, customers can keep their personal and professional lives separate at all times. In order to ensure an intuitive and user-friendly interface, the slab has been deployed with the Android Ice Cream Sandwich v4.0.4 OS which should also tag along Google Mobile services and provide access to the Play store.

A Cortex A9 processor that can clock in a maximum speed of 1GHz is responsible for allowing users to multitask with ease and get instant access to web pages. The chipset is accompanied by 1GB of DDR3 RAM which works towards offering smooth navigation. It ships with 4GB of internal memory and an expansion slot as well, to expand the storage by up to 32GB with the help of a microSD card.
