HP SlateBook x2 and Split x2 launched with four more touch gadgets

The HP SlateBook x2 and Split x2 have been announced in India together with four other touch-enabled devices. Even while offering a variety in form factors with notebooks, hybrids and more, HP has sought to please both Android as well as Windows loyalists.

The manufacturer begins with highlighting the SlateBook x2 and the Split x2, both of which qualify as convertibles, switching from tablet to PC mode with the help of a magnetic hinge. The former rocks Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean out of box, while the latter has been optimized for Windows 8.

Spreading some light on the Android hybrid, we understand that apart from packing up to 64GB of internal storage space, it comes with a 10.1-inch HD touch display. Under the hood lies a quad core Nvidia Tegra 4 chipset. If the convertible has struck interested folks’ fantasy, then they could take it home at Rs 39,990.

Coming up next is the Windows 8 gadget which has an Intel Core chipset. The device’s front panel is dominated by a 13.3-inch HD touchscreen, while a 2MP TrueVision full HD webcam has been squeezed into place near the display. To lay claim over this tablet-PC, buyers will have to shell out Rs 64,990.

Split x2

Entering along with the SlateBook x2 and the Split x2 is the Envy Rove 20 which is the conglomerate’s first AIO PC showing off a 20-inch IPS screen and it has been made available at Rs 69,990. Furthermore, the list of new candidates includes the 11.6-inch Pavilion 11 TouchSmart Notebook that is up on sale for Rs 31,990 and the Envy TouchSmart 14 Ultrabook which has been pegged at Rs 64,990. And finally, the 21.5-inch Slate21 is up for grabs at Rs 24,990.
