Price details of the PadFone 2 for the UK have been revealed and the multitasking Asus device that serves the purpose of a smartphone as well as a tablet is now available via Clove for £599.99 (approx. Rs. 48,475), reports the e-retailer’s official blog. It is bundled with a docking station which helps prospective users to turn the phone into a 10.1-inch tab.
The PadFone 2 device’s successor, the third generation Infinity was announced at the MWC, but the company has kept the latter’s launch details close to its chest for now. The second generation gadget comes drenched in shades of black or white and the smartphone is encased in a chassis that measures 137.9 x 68.9 x 9 millimeters. The accompanying pad has dimensions of 263 x 180.8 x 10.4 millimeters and weighs in at 514 grams.
