If you have been secretly wishing for a gaming tablet that doesn’t break the bank, then here’s the Xolo Play Tab 7.0 that belongs to the same series as the Play smartphone. The affordable device will set you back by just under Rs 13,000 and has already been made available in India through leading retail stores and shopping portals.
The Xolo Play Tab’s front panel is mainly dominated by an IPS LCD touchscreen that offers a multi-touch area of 7 inches. It is capable of rendering visuals in 1280 x 800p resolution and users can expect a wide viewing angle too. And apart from this, the tablet is perfectly compatible with high definition 1080p videos.
Graphics performance of the gadget is also up to the mark as Nvidia GeForce GPU featuring 12 cores rests within the confines of the gadget. And what makes it compatible with different mobile games is the Nvidia Tegra 3 processor which can be found in it. There are four cores to make the device capable of multitasking and a fifth core has been tossed in for saving up on battery.
It makes the most of the Android Jelly Bean platform, version 4.1 to be precise, but the company has not mentioned anything about a software update. Its internal storage is limited to 8GB and if you want more space, simply use a microSD card for increasing it by up to 32GB. And as far as the power pack is concerned, it boasts of a 4000mAh one.
