A certain China-based company’s first, very own branded device for the UK, the ZTE V9A Light Tab 2, is all set to hit the country through online retailer Clove. The 7-inch tablet computer looks apt for those who prefer gadgets which are light and easily portable.

Operating on the Gingerbread platform, this slate is equipped with a TFT LCD capacitive touchscreen and weighs merely 402 kilograms. The front panel sports a 0.3MP camera, while a rear facing 3MP snapper is also provided. In addition to MP3 tracks, videos and movies, users can even play FM radio on this gadget.

“ZTE V9A is ZTE’s first own-branded tablet made available in the UK and we are very excited about its entry into the market. The Light Tab 2 is incorporated with a 3400mAh battery which should enable the slate to last through work and play sessions for up to 5.5 hours. It comes pre-loaded with 4GB user memory, which can be expanded externally by means of a microSD card. The operations of this tablet are managed by the Qualcomm MSM8255 processor.

The ZTE V9A Light Tab 2 price in the UK is £234.99 (approx. Rs. 18,200), inclusive of VAT charges. It can be expected to start shipping by late February or early March.
