Adcom Tablet PC-APad 721C

The price and availability details of yet another low-cost slab that goes by the name Adcom Tablet PC-APad 721C, have been chalked out and the slate has already hit availability status. It is accompanied by an optional keyboard which turns the device into a mini-laptop or a USB dongle for extending support to the 3G network speed.

Muck like a number of other budget-conscious slates released recently, the slab in question employs a 7-inch capacitive touchscreen which lays claim to the front panel. Along with the display, there’s a front-mounted 1.2MP webcam for video conferencing over the web and a 3.2MP rear-facing camera for allowing users to capture images and record videos. It gorges on the Android Ice Cream Sandwich platform, but there’s no sign of the Jelly Bean update.

The device’s ability to support multiple operations at the same time can be attributed to the Allwinner Cortex A8 processor which ticks at 1.5GHz and 1GB DDR3 RAM. Although it comes with only 4GB of internal storage, the tab extends support to a microSD card of up to 32GB capacity. The 7-inch tablet offers web browsing time of close to 5 hours, thanks to a 3,500mAh battery that rests under the hood.

The Adcom Tablet PC-APad 721C can be picked up for a price of Rs. 9,250, while it costs Rs. 11,099 and Rs. 10,388 with a keyboard and a USB dongle, respectively.
