iBall Slide tablet released in India

iBall Slide Tablet The latest tablet to make its debut in India is the iBall Slide. Released today, the device which is powered by a 1GHz ARM Cortex A8 processor follows the recently released Reliance 3G Tab and Mercury mTab.

This 7-inch tablet runs on Android Gingerbread and provides 6.5 hours of music playback. Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and 3G enabled, the device embeds a 2MP front-facing camera along with HDMI output for HD quality video.

The new tablet comes with 8GB built in and 32GB expandable memory. Operating on a 4400mAh lithium-ion-battery, it is equipped with USB and OTG ports and is capable of delivering five hours of video playback. Some of the interesting features this device incorporates are Visual search, Voice actions, web browsing, e-mail, chat, social networking, Music and HD video, gaming, e-book, news, weather and many applications from the Android market.

The iBall Slide tablet priced at Rs. 13,995 will be available for purchase across leading retail stores in India within a few days.
