Barnes & Noble Nook eReaders to hit Fry’s Electronics, TigerDirect, CompUSA

Nook Simple Touch Reader

The Barnes & Noble Nook eReading devices will be available to even more users in the U.S. as the company has tied up with Fry’s Electronics, TigerDirect and CompUSA. These eReaders will be available at Fry’s Electronics before the end of this month while they will start shipping through the other two retailers in December.

The Nook eReader series is inclusive of the Nook Simple Touch Reader boasting of an easy to use interface. The sleek and slim device is adorned by a 6-inch touchscreen featuring the advanced eInk Pearl display. The lightweight tablet responds to tap gestures facilitating better navigation to shop and read books. And needless to say, it offers access to the Barnes & Noble Nook Bookstore which stocks up on a wide range of eBooks.

Nook Color Reader

Another eReader from the company dubbed Nook Color can be utilized to read a number of books including children’s picture books, interactive magazines, newspapers and more. It dons a 7-inch VividView Color touchscreen to further enhance the reading experience. Additionally, this device is inclusive of some essential features such as built-in e-mail, improved web browsing and support for high-quality Nook Apps.

The Barnes & Noble Nook eReading devices are slated to be available at Fry’s Electronics, TigerDirect and CompUSA retail stores and online web portals, across the U.S.
