I’m Hanging printer to de-clutter desks

I’m Hanging printer

While computer systems are on their way to becoming as compact as possible with the introduction of All-in-Ones and touchscreen monitors, it is only natural to witness a shrink in the size of peripherals like the I’m Hanging printer. As the name suggests, the printer hangs on to a wall allowing users to work on tidy desks without the muddle of wires.

Yanko Design confirms that this printer designed by Marc JuHyun Cha is a participant of the 2011 IF concept design. As pointed out by this website, printers though useful, take up a lot of space on the desk. This is all the more problematic for small and medium businesses, most of which operate in space-deprived workplaces. This hanging printer should strike a chord with professionals from such offices.

Not only will this uniquely designed printer make way for more space on the desk, but also efficiently cut down on tangling wires. And owing to its attractive design the printer when clinging on to the wall, does not appear like the conventional ones which cannot really be added to the list of attractive looking gadgets.

This compact device employs all required tools like rollers and cartridges. In order to deliver the kind of performance expected from printers, this machine is deployed with ink cartridges in a fashion similar to the usual peripherals. Also, the ink cartridge holder sports a sliding design, making it easily accessible to users while refilling the printer.

Sounds extremely useful, but it will be a while before the I’m Hanging printer is made available for users, if at all.
