Notion Ink unveiled the Adam at CES 2010, a tablet based on Nvidia’s next-generation Tegra technology, offering unparalleled combination of cutting edge features into a single package.

The next-generation Tegra chip is claimed to be smaller than a US dime and allows users up to 140 hours of music with a single charge, this is equivalent to content held within 200 CDs. Users can also enjoy 16 hours of HD video playback with a single charge. The Flash-capable Tegra enables multitasking, allowing Notion Ink Adam to deliver a full desktop-like mobile internet experience. It is also claimed that no other current device boasts of such a combination of features.

Elaborating on the prowess of NvidiaTegra 250, Nishant Goyal of Nvidia said, “While delivering 10 times the performance of a smartphone and enabling resolutions that are 4 to 8 times higher, Nvidia Tegra 250 consumes power that is 20 times less than a PC.”

Recently, Nvidia Tegra offered multimedia muscle to Microsoft’s Zune HD Player and over 50 designs wins, ranging from smartphones to internet-enabled TVs, now in pipeline with manufacturers across the globe.

“Nvidia has always been at the forefront of technological innovation and we saw great potential of furthering this vision through the enterprising team of Notion Ink. Their product is path breaking and holds great promise. We are proud to have been associated with the development of the Adam. With technologies such as Nvidia Tegra 250 and enterprising minds such as that of Notion Ink, one can expect many more exciting innovations,” Goyal concluded.

The small yet powerful Nvidia Tegra 250 chip lets the Adam effortlessly deliver 1080p HD video playback. The chipset is also capable of handling other HD multimedia content such as games, apps and web surfing. These functionalities promise to deliver power efficient and enhanced battery life. Notion Ink will display its technologies at MWC.

Haven’t been this excited about a device since my gameboy. Good job Notion Ink. Make sure there is support for Microsoft Office because when i get this id like to put down my netbook. Also it needs to run blackberry desktop manager, get on these little things. Im already sold on this device.I Don’t care what those fruits are saying at apple. I hope you’re in dialogue with high profile game developers as well. This Nvidea graphics chipset has great potential, Im not a gamer myself anymore but id buy a couple nice ones if it were designed for this device. At the moment its you and apple. Both will be emotional purchases but my purchases will be more rational. Yours is the better product.
