Multi-touch capabilities are slowly yet steadily increasing in popularity. There have been several multi-touch devices unboxed lately. Now, Asus brings out the multi-touch capable compact device, the Eee PC T101MT which is a convertible tablet that runs on Windows 7.

According to Engadget, Asus now officially puts forth the Eee PC T101MT. Sporting a 10.1-inch LED backlit display with 1024 x 600 pixels, the table PC enables users to perform actions with a pinch, drag, drop and flick of a finger.

The screen also reproduces handwriting inputs with the stylus or the user’s finger. This Intel Pine Trail product packs in the Intel Atom N450 processor and 1GB or 2GB of RAM. The spec sheet also reveals GMA 3150 integrated graphics, 1.3-megapixel webcam and 160GB or 320GB storage space.

Connectivity options include 802.11b/g/n and Bluetooth 2.1+EDR for wireless access, VGA port, three USB 2.0 ports, LAN RJ-45 connector, multi-card reader and microphone and headphone jacks. At 1.3Kgs, its Li-polymer battery lasts for up to 6.5 hours. However, the pricing and availability details are yet to be announced.
