Thailand based Company Tatung has showcased its 10.4-inch portable tablet PC, called the WebPad TX-3000 during Taitronics Bangkok 2007.
The features of the Tatung WebPad TX-3000 includes the company’s touchscreen technology, an AMD LX 800 processor and 1GB CompactFlash card, 802.11b/g WiFi, USB 2.0, PCMCIA, VGA output, and audio in / out.
Charlie Lan, President of Tatung, said, “The WebPad is being supplied to globally renowned partners including ViewSonic and it is to hit Thai market under its own Tatung brand.”
Moreover, it delivers screen resolution up to 800×600 with a 1024 x 768 pixel, battery that offers life up to 3 hours.
Tatung has developed semi-rugged WebPAD with reliable platform for commercial and vertical market. It passes IP53 verification that approves its water repellent capability.
No word on price and launch of the Tatung WebPad TX-3000 Portable Notebook PC.
