The ADATA DashDrive UV100 is the latest member to have been welcomed into the company’s flash drive family. The sleek and compact media storage solution boasts of carrying an affordable price tag and is said to be suitable for daily use.
Similar to a number of other drives from the company, the UV100 dons a cap-less deign. This highly eliminates the possibility of damaging the USB connector by losing the cap. The device also sports a strap hole that adds to the portability factor as users can attach it to a lanyard or a keychain.
The stylish device should appeal to the fashion-conscious technology buffs, considering it is carved out of a diamond-cut bevel exterior. Users can also choose their variant from three different color options of black, blue and red. The lightweight drive with dimensions of 41 x 19.3 x 5.8 millimeters, tips the scale merely at 4 grams. It comes in versions with storage capacities of 4GB, 8GB and 16GB.
Featuring the USB 2.0 connector, the ADATA storage drive can be used in conjunction with systems embedded with USB 1.1 interface, too. It is compatible with Operating systems including Microsoft Windows 98, 98SE, ME, 2000, XP, Vista and 7, MAC OS 9.0 or later and Linux Kernel 2.4 or later. Moreover, the device can run in extreme temperatures ranging from 0°C to 60°C and need to be stored in temperatures between 25°C and 80°C.
