The latest hardware devices all set to enter the solid state drive market of India are the recently declared Kingston SSDNow V+200 SSDs. These new offerings come integrated with the second-generation high-speed SATA 3.0 6GB/s SandForce SF-2281 processor and can be used by owners for business as well as consumer purposes.

The most recent collection of Kingston SSDs will be available in 60GB, 90GB, 120GB, 240GB and 480GB capacities in the form of individual drives or as an upgrade kit which will apparently make the process of installation an easier and quicker one. These hardware devices are capable of offering sequential read and write speeds of up to 535MB/s and 480MB/s, respectively.

Measuring 2.5 inches each, the V+200 SSDs are equipped with self-encrypting drive technology, as revealed by the company. With a negligible weight of 115g, they can optimally function in temperatures ranging between 0° C and 70° C.

The Kingston SSDNow V+200 SSDs release date and price details have not yet been disclosed. They will be accompanied by free live technical support and a three-year warranty.
