New addition to the StoreJet line, the portable Transcend StoreJet 25A hard drive is now available in India with both USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 interface. Boasting of a sleek form factor, the shock resistant pen drive is available in variants of capacities ranging from 500GB to 1TB.
Two versions of the hard drive, the StoreJet 25A3 and 25A2 employ SuperSpeed USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 interfaces, respectively. The 25A3 with speed ten times faster than USB 2.0, transfers at a rate of 90MB per second. Both variants are encased in the similar stylish and slender exterior.
The compact storage device prevents data loss with its capabilities of withstanding shocks and bumps. It is integrated with the Transcend shock-absorbing suspension damper system which protects the drive in case of falls and drops.
Moreover, the hard drive is embedded with a One Touch Auto-Backup button to create a backup of the stored data by utilizing the Transcend Elite software. The software also provides security through encryption in addition to bookmarks for mobile internet. Further, it also comes with pre-loaded RecoveRx software to retrieve deleted data.
The 500GB, 750GB and 1TB variants of USB 3.0 Transcend StoreJet 25A3 hard drive are priced at Rs. 6150, Rs. 7,350 and Rs. 9,800 while those of USB 2.0 Transcend StoreJet 25A2 hard drive carry a price tag of Rs. 5,650, Rs. 6,800 and Rs. 9,200, respectively. They are available with a three year limited warranty.
