The Seagate 4TB GoFlex Desk external hard drive was recently announced. Built with a streamlined industrial design, it delivers a supposedly smaller footprint and claims to provide the highest capacity in the hard drive industry.
The Seagate GoFlex Desk 4TB lets users capture and store as many memories as they wish along with wide entertainment. It is enabled to store more than 2,000 HD movies and comes with pre-loaded backup software for automatically backing the files with encryption.

Belonging to the GoFlex series of hard drives which debuted in May last year, this device comes with a USB 3.0 adapter and can also function with USB 2.0 ports, thus making connectivity to any Windows or Mac computer easier. The accompanying adapter embeds an illuminated gauge which shows users the amount of space available on the drive.
The Seagate GoFlex Desk 4TB external hard drive can now be bought online at seagate.com and will be available from select online retailers later this month for a price of $249.99 (approx. Rs. 11,508). Additionally the GoFlex Desk for Mac external drive with FireWire 800 and USB 2.0 is scheduled to start retailing from the end of this month via Apple stores.
