Kingston steps in with new CompactFlash Ultimate 600x memory card

Kingston Ultimate 600x Card

Kingston was last seen unveiling the Kingston DataTraveler Ultimate 3.0 flash drive. Now, the company expands its storage portfolio with the latest CompactFlash Ultimate 600x memory card. Capable of supporting UDMA mode 6, the solution flaunts remarkable read and write speeds of around 90MB/s.

Users have the flexibility to pick up the card in 16GB and 32GB. These cards lend support to huge files developed while capturing in RAW mode or HD video. Owners can seamlessly connect the card to UDMA mode 6-enabled cameras and readers, thereby augmenting write and read speeds as compared to the earlier generation of cards.

“The Kingston CF Ultimate 600x cards are great for photographers shooting in burst mode. For example, in a situation like a wedding or sporting event where the ability to rapidly take successive shots could make the difference between capturing the perfect shot or just missing it,” commented Mike Kuppinger, Flash card product manager, Kingston. “We are pleased to add the 600x card to our CompactFlash family of products which also includes the 266x Ultimate and 133x Elite Pro cards.”

Users may now be spotted with a smile since the newly unleashed memory cards offers free downloadable data recovery software from MediaRECOVER. The battery life is enhanced with the efficient auto-sleep mode. With the dimensions of 36.4mm x 42.8mm x 3.3mm, the offering further offers an advanced user experience with its ability to be used as plug-and-play.

The new 32GB 600x CompactFlash card can be snapped up for $270 (approx Rs. 12,135), while the 16GB 600x CompactFlash card model costs $154 (approx Rs. 6,921).
