Active Media Products augments endangered species series USB drives to 32GB

Active Media Products USB Drives

Remember Active Media Products’ endangered species series of USB drives? Well, the company now augments the storage capacity loaded onto the drives to 32GB.

Built of non-toxic silicone rubber, the flash drives come minus PVC, lead and mercury and other hazardous elements usually found in other USB drives. With a length ranging from 2.2-inches to 2.6-inches, the drives are small enough to be attached to a keychain. The models also feature a red activity LED which enables the animal to glow bright red while plugged in.

“Our original endangered species drives are crafted in minute detail after the features of each animal. Our design goal was to preserve the natural beauty of the beast in a functional two-inch storage device.” stated Jerry Thomson, VP of Sales at Active Media Products.

The 32GB drives pack in about 10,000 six megapixel photos or up to 8,000 MP3 songs. The drives are available through Amazon ranging in 2GB to 32GB storage capacities. However, the company’s Koala USB drive based on COB technology is still available in 2GB to 16GB storage capacities. The 32GB Panda, Penguin and Polar Bear USB drives are priced at $85 (approx Rs. 3,926) each.
