LaCie introduces its latest external devices namely the d2 DVD burner and Lacie Hard Disk MAX.
The LaCie d2 DVD±RW 22x is capable of writing on DVD-R, DVD-RW, Dual Layer, CD-R or CD-RW media. It features USB 2.0 connection and FireWire and comes with a sturdy d2 casing. Using the LightScribe technology, it also allows users to burn custom, professional labels.
Designed by Neil Poulton, the 2 TB Hard Disk MAX is a simple and efficient storage device that comes with two internal disks, thus maximizing the storage capacity. Sporting a sleek, all-black mirror-polished finish, it features a blue LED strip below the device that provides an ambient glow. Users can connect other USB devices using its USB expansion port. It comes bundled with softwares that allow easy formatting and backup. It also lets users select RAID option based on the users requirements, RAID 0 (BIG) for high capacity or RAID 1 (SAFE) for high security.
The d2 external DVD burner is priced at $120 while the Hard Disk MAX storage device carries a price tag worth $270.
